World Botanic EXPO, regarded as the biggest organisation after the Olympics and World Cup, opens in Turkey for the first time in 160-year EXPO history. Within the scope of EXPO 2016 Antalya opening ceremony, sound, light, water and dance shows were performed over the EXPO Lake by Staras.
In the show performed in front of the Şakayık Terrace, the cycle of life was animated by making an analogy between a symbolic paeony flower in blossom and the sunrise. 25 truck load of equipment and a team of 70 persons were used by Staras at the opening ceremony. The program continued with laser and smoke shows, video mapping and fireworks events.
